At the 18th March 2021, Council meeting Councillor Andrew proposed an amendment to the Parks Amendment Bylaw. The amendment, if approved, would have added Irving Park to the list of parks where overnight camping was prohibited.
The motion was defeated.
In favour (= ban overnight camping): Andrew, Thornton-Joe, Young
Opposed: Alto, Dubow, Helps, Loveday, Potts
Recused due to family member living nearby: Isitt
